Lovely ice cream shop with light lunch buffet available. The space itself has plenty of seating on second and third floor. I was here for an ice cream. My cantaloupe ice cream was to die for. They literally made it taste exactly like cantaloupe. My partner’s veg vanilla ice cream was great too. The ice cream flavors at this shop at the time of visit are more fruit focused which was delightful. Some nondairy flavors are available.

Olen tainnut kulkea ison myyn lähellä katse maassa, kun ehdin asua Joensuussa reilun vuoden ennen kuin tajusin Kahvila Nikolain olemassaolon. Kunhan selviää maskuliinisen hajupilven ohi rappuun, löytyy pieni satumainen kahvila jonka tiloja on kahdessa kerroksessa. Lounas oli maukasta. Ruokarajoitteisena lounaspöydän valikoima pienenee vähän, muttei liikaa. Lounaaseen kuuluu myös jäätelöpikari. Kahvilatuotteetkin näyttivät niin herkullisilta, että tulen ehdottomasti uudelleen maistamaan niitäkin. Harmi kun kauniista ikkunoista on kurjat näkymät. Kahvilan sisustusta on onneksi mieluisa katsella.
